Tech Fund Debate
In our culture today, one of the importance's of marriage is to have kids. Having kids does not mean just give birth to a child. It has to do with being able to take good care of the child. Know what is of the best interest of the child. As a parent, you know what morals you want your kid to grow up with. You know what things you will allow your child to do, and you also know what to give to the kid. Maybe the kid wanted something that you don’t want him to have. You try all you could to talk the kid out of it, or you do anything you can to stop the kid from getting the thing. Like other kids, your child might want a video game or maybe he/she has the video game, but he/she spend a lot of time in it. Maybe you have heard or read a lot of bad things about video game, and you wanted to stop your child from playing video games. Maybe you are like my mom who will just destroy the game. Despite all the bad names that have been given to video games, video games broadly affect the health, education and general welfare of kids in a positive way.
Many think that playing games is just for fun and has no real affect on you. Scientists have recently found out that video games are even better than drugs for [[#|depression]]. It was also shown that it greatly helped with anxiety. Video games also helped with young peoples ability to overcome. The study showed that overcoming physical, emotional, and social challenges became easier for those who had played video games. Games also bring out the “ten positive emotions”, like joy, love, and curiosity. Gaming is one of the only things that actually bring out all ten of the emotions.
Video games can help you develop vital life skills. In one [[#|study]], scientists had gamers go up against supercomputers to make a virtual cure for Alzheimer’s. These gamers knew nothing about biochemistry, but they were still able to beat the supercomputers in more that half of the games. This shows that their logical thinking and problem solving skills were increased, as well as observational and strategic skills. Gamers also had a 30% increase in another vital skill: creativity. These games are allowing people's minds to run free with all sorts of ideas. In some games you can make your own towns or worlds. This is really a revolutionary find in the world of gaming.
Many people will ask, what about children? How does it affect them? Games have been known to be an outlet of fun for children. This lets children escape from the stress of everyday life and just have fun. Gaming also increases confidence in children. They will start getting better and better at these games which will give them a sense of accomplishment. Children can also use games to [[#|learn math]] and develop their visual ability. Another positive aspect of gaming in children is familiarity with technology. Technologies, such as computers, are in everyday use in our society. If you don’t know how to use one you aren’t going to be successful. Video games are making kids more familiar with this. When they need to start using computers they will know how. This skill will be important for their future.
Playing video games can enhance some of man’s basic skills. Videogames can improve visual-spatial capacity, visual acuity, task switching, decision making and object tracking. In the video game world you accomplish many tasks, quests, and adventures, which can improve low-level vision, visual attention, processing speed and statistical inference. These effects of video games improve the functioning of the brain. The brain reacts to the videogames in order to make you better at that game. Being better at almost any game requires a skill of some sort, and one of the most required skill to playing video games is faster hand eye coordination. Hand eye coordination is the most probably received skill to playing video games.
Men’s health website post a article stating that only 20 minutes can improve the hand eye coordination drastically. Communication Research published that article which states, "151 by college students spend 20 minutes playing video games that involved shooting and then immediately after had them fire at a 6-foot tall mannequin with an airsoft training pistol." The article continues to state the results of the short experiment, "The subjects who used a pistol-
shaped controller with their video game session had 99 percent more completed head shots to the mannequin than the subjects who played with regular controllers." This experiment proved that
the use of video games, while misuse of important time, improves your skill.
One reason that I believe video games are good for you is that it helps with your focus. Studies have proven that if someone suffers from attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), then playing video games can help to train their brain to be able to focus and process visual information quicker. Then they will be able to focus better in school and other important things.
Video games can also help to improve your vision. You can become up to 58 percent better at perceiving fine contrast differences. If it is foggy out, it can determine whether you see a car or not. It can also help you be able to distinguish different colors. It will be easier for you to distinguish between blues and purples and oranges and reds.

Among the many importance's of video game is the fact that video games promote the basic math skills in kids. Playing video games help children learn to interact with the score counters on videogames. By keeping the scores in videogames, kids were able to maintain good counting skills which will improve their mathematical skills. Videogames also help kids to be able to analyze mathematical situations.
As we have seen, video games can be very [[#|beneficial]] to kids. They can affect the health of kids, help their education, and make their general welfare good. Everyone always says that video games are bad for kids but they don’t really see the good behind them. So when you decide to have a child, maybe video games can be a good way to educate your child. It can be a cheap way to do it, but it will also give them common sense. So don’t’ debate on whether you should allow the children of America to play video games, it’s obvious. Choose to let your kids play video games.Bibliography
